These pieces have been created and hand forged by Blacksmith Mark Buik in Groton, Vermont.
We have brushed on a boiled linseed oil base to finish which darkens the natural color, waxing the pieces individually to preserve and prevent oxidation. Ragging on paste wax (butchers wax) yearly will preserve all interior pieces. Exterior pieces should be protected with an application of tung-oil varnish mix or rust retardant satin black or clear acrylic paint.
